This Privacy Policy explains how propelevate.sg (“we”, “us”, the “site”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By using the site and submitting your details, you consent to the practices described here.

What we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it, principally through our forms:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, and (optionally) mobile number.
  • Upgrade preferences — your indicated upgrade timeline and similar context you provide.
  • Calculator inputs — the figures you enter into the calculator (e.g. flat value, loan, CPF, income). These are used to generate your results in your browser; we treat any details you submit to us as covered by this policy.
  • Technical data — standard information your browser sends (such as device and usage data), which may be collected via analytics to help us improve the site.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Match you with a licensed property agent or mortgage broker who specialises in HDB-to-private upgrades, when you request an assessment or consultation;
  • Respond to your enquiries and provide the information or service you requested;
  • Improve the site, its content, and the calculator; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

To provide the matching service, we may disclose your contact details and upgrade preferences to a licensed property agent or mortgage broker (for example, agents from established agencies) so they can contact you about your upgrade. We share only what is necessary for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

We may also disclose data to service providers who help us operate the site (such as hosting or analytics providers), and where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How a matched agent may contact you (Do Not Call)

When you tick the consent box and submit a form, you give clear and unambiguous consent for us and the matched licensed property agent or mortgage broker to contact you about your HDB upgrade at the number and email you provide — including by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. This consent applies even if your number is listed on Singapore’s Do Not Call (DNC) Registry, as permitted under the PDPA.

This consent is limited to your upgrade enquiry. You can withdraw it at any time (see below), after which we and the matched agent will stop contacting you for marketing purposes.

By submitting a form, you consent to us collecting and using your data as described, including disclosing it to a matched property agent or mortgage broker. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us — after which we will stop using your data for those purposes, subject to any legal retention requirements. Note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the matching service.

Access and correction

Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to request correction of any inaccurate data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Data protection and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law, after which we will delete or anonymise it.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies or similar technologies, including for analytics, to understand usage and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site features.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
